Bridal Makeup

When it comes to bridal make-up, we often get the wrong idea about colors and design.  Bridal make-up should be a subtle, feminine, elegant expression of who you are.  This look embodies innocence, effortless beauty and simplicity.  Remember, your essence should come through, the makeup shouldn't wear you!

Step 1
Begin by prepping your skin (cleanse, tone & moisturize).

Step 2
Apply a full coverage liquid foundation to areas that need it only, & blend out wards for a flawless finish. If any discoloration marks are showing through the foundation, apply a cream concealer one shade lighter than your skin ON TOP of the foundation and blend in. Follow with a light dusting of loose powder all over your face to set the foundation, and remember to use a sponge to set under your eyes.

Step 3
Lightly groom eyebrows.  Make sure to fill them in LIGHTLY if you need to, using a powder or pencil one shade lighter than you NATURAL hair color.

Step 4
Apply a brownish-pink shadow from lash line to crease.  Then, apply a darker brown on the crease to create a sexy effect.  Line your eyes on the top and bottom with a dark brown pencil and smudge.  For more savvy girls, apply individual lashes to create a little drama!  Follow with 2 coats of mascara.

Step 5
Apply a pink blush using a full blush brush to the apple of your cheeks.  To find your "apple", simply smile! The roundest part of the cheek should be the spot.

Step 6
Finally, on pre-moisturized lips, apply your favorite pink lipstick.  Follow with lip gloss in pink or clear. Make sure to carry these with you for re-touching after all that smooching!
